Okay, so before I dive into this post, Sarabear123 and I were talking about outgrowing names, And all of a sudden I felt like my nickname, 'Manny' [short for Amanda], is sort of growing old. one of the blogs I am going to be writing for, The Stardoll Fashion Bomb, had asked me my First Name and Middle...and For once I'd submitted Amanda Meryl, my name in it's fullest.
I feel as if it is time for a change, that moment when you feel you should leave something behind. And In this case it might be a nickname That I had grown to love.
Well, whatever, Moving on...

My Portfolio has Made its way onto a separate Blog, called The Mannequin, I'd planned it to be a sort of fashion blog, but it turned out being a portfolio...and frankly, I am too lazy to change the banner and yadda yadda.
So, the 'Mannequin' being graphically made by Ally, formerly Tiff_Forever was taken from a banner she had made for me a long time ago for an ISD competition I Hosted.

I actually am a designer on the New Stardoll Competition, Stardoll's Fashion Star! It has a great concept and Elite-girl is looking for 2 more designers, so if you can draw, I say you go apply! [click on the picture to go to the blog]
I am very excited to be part of this competition, it'll help me get better at my sketches, and also familiarize myself with the most recent trends. I'm just nervous because so many great Graphic designers are there, and their sketches are no different than their graphics.
